I spent my time at LWCS pushing buttons and pulling away, and the people at Living Word, did nothing but hold on and love me through it all. When I wanted to quit, I was pulled back and held up by the loving arms of the staff and teachers. Ms Jessie said girl try me because I am going to love you through it. Now, 13 years later I am preparing to send my daughter to the same school, there was never a question in my mind on where she would have her academic career. I am and for ever will be great full for LWCS and the ones that loved me through it. Sent from my iPhone
After graduating from living word Christian school it helped me to be a better person by teaching me that the fruits of the spirit are very helpful to having a good life , and it helped to bring me closer to God then my other schools did. It impacted my life by teaching me things I need to know both educational and godly ones , and gave me the best the job I could have I wouldn't ask for any other job but the one I have as a math tutor.
My time at Living Word Christian School was without a doubt some of the most influential years of my life. High School is hard for many reasons, but the time, energy, prayers, and wisdom instilled into me not only prepared me as an adult with a career - but also as a wife, mother, and stronger Christian. Instead of being a name on a roster, I was given the opportunity to have the close but professional relationships with my teachers that I needed in order to be nurtured and guided to the woman that God has called me to be. I was given opportunity after opportunity to excel in extra curricular activities, and expand my experiences with trips and competitions. Curriculum both in terms of Biblical and other studies such as Business Math equipped me to be smart and proficient in my career, volunteer work, and everyday life. The Allison and Horne family go above and beyond as well as putting such a positive outlook into everything they do for anyone who steps foot on their campus.
